Steps

  • Bluetooth is not recommended for use during an event due to the possibility of wireless interference causing connection problems during playback.
  • The following information is taken from the CD-400U user manual
  • To Pair a Bluetooth Device:
    1. Make sure your Bluetooth device has its Bluetooth turned on and is within range of the CD-400U.
    2. Select BLUETOOTH as the current source.
    3. Press and hold the BACK/PAIRING button located under the control knob.
    4. A PAIRING message will blink on the display.
    5. On your Bluetooth device, enter its Bluetooth settings menu and select CD-400U.
    6. Some devices require entering a passkey, Enter 0000 if that is the case
    7. When pairing succeeds, the two devices will be connected and BLUETOOTH Connected will appear on the display.
    8. Pairing will automatically end if the connection is not confirmed within 2 minutes
  • To connect a Bluetooth device if it has already been paired:
    1. Set the CD-400U media source to BLUETOOTH
    2. If the unit has just been powered up, it will automatically try to connect with the last device it was connected to. 
    3. If the unit has been on for a while, in your Bluetooth device, select the CD-400U from the device list and it will connect to the CD-400U
    4. To connect a different device
      1. Press the BACK/PAIRING button. 
      2. A BLUETOOTH Disconnect? message will appear on the display
      3. Press the control knob to disconnect the device
      4. The CD-400U is now ready for another device to connect.
