AF-6710 Tight VNC session is not orientated correct

Potential Symptoms

  • Tight VNC is showing up in the wrong orientation.
  • The VNC session may be showing landscape instead of vertical or vice versa.
  • The VNC session is showing up crooked or vertical when it should be horizontal.

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product: AF-6710
  • Component: SBC, mouse & keyboard
  • Control System: Tight VNC

Cause

  • The Tight VNC configuration is incorrect or the VNC is out of date.

Resolution

  1. Uninstall the Tight VNC from the SBC.
  2. This may or may not be in the programs and features.
  3. If not found in the programs and features on the SBC, click on the hidden icons arrow on the desktop.
  4. This is located in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop.
  5. Click on the white up arrow.
  6. Right click on the Tight VNC icon and select uninstall.
  7. This will drop the Tight VNC session.
  8. Plug a mouse, keyboard and monitor into the SBC.
  9. Install the latest Tight VNC found below.
