DM-100 doesn't power up when connected to outdoor J-Box, Polarity reversed

Potential Symptoms

  • DM-100 wont power up when connected to the outdoor J-box.

Cause

  • Polarity is reversed on pins 1 and 5 on the J-Box

Resolution

  • Swap the red and black wires on pins 1 and 5 on the back of the J-Box

    For Temporary Operation

    • If a wall pack transformer is available and an outlet is close enough to plug it into,  you can power the DM-100 with that and see if you can communicate to the display.
