Cause

  • Switchback compatibility engine is not enabled.

Resolution

  • Have domain admin update group policy to re-enable this feature.

  • Enable policy through the registry.
    1. Open RegEdit and navigate to the following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\AppCompat
    2. Edit the value of sbEnable to equal 1.
    3. If \AppCompat\ does not exist, create the key by right clicking and selecting "New key".
    4. Once this key is created, create a new value and name it sbEnable.
    5. Once sbEnable is created, set the value to 1.
