Cause

  • OmniSport 2000 console is not configured for "Continuous".  OmniSport 2000 console is configured to display Final Time.  First place final time is held on the scoreboard for at least five seconds (default).  All subsequent times are then automatically sequenced on the scoreboard as they finish.  When all active lanes have finished/completed the race, the system displays all of the final times in sequence from first place to last place and repeats the sequence until the next race is started.

Resolution

  • Follow the instructions below to configure OmniSport 2000 to setup Numeric scoreboard and select "Continuous".  This will cause the scoreboard to display the running time continuously throughout the race until all active lanes have finished/completed the race. Refer to ED-13312 for further detail.

    • This menu sets what data is displayed on a single line numeric scoreboard.
    • Use [?][?] to select either CONTINUOUS running data or the FINISH scores.

    • Press [ENTER] to save.
