Fuel price communication issue, no line of sight with antenna

Potential Symptoms

  • Trouble communicating.
  • Unable to change prices, or responses are inconsistent.
  • Price will not update at all

Cause

  • The antenna was installed on the wrong side of the pylon structure.
    • There is no line of sight from controller to the antenna.

Resolution

  • Move the receiver card and antenna to the side facing the building, for clear line of sight, where the user will be operating from.

For Temporary Operation

  • Walk to a location that gives you line of sight access to the antenna on the display and attempt to control the display from there.
