TNMC (Team Name Message Center): Doubles match shows team name instead of individual player names on the scoreboard.

Potential Symptoms

  • Singles match will show individual player names as expected, but doubles will revert to showing the team name instead of both of the individual player names.

Environment

  • Product Family: Tennis Scoreboard
  • Product: TN-XXXX
  • Component: TNMC (Team Name Message Center)
  • Control System: DakTennis; RC-100; RC-200

Cause

  • The option to hide player names is selected for Doubles.

Resolution

  • In DakTennis, the Dual 1 (Competition) tab has the option to select or deselect the ability to Hide Player Names.  If the icon has a grey background it is deselected and will allow individual player names to be displayed.
