GS6, Modules randomly turning off and on, Low incoming voltage to the display

Potential Symptoms

  • Modules are observed to go blank in pairs that share the same power supplies, but come back on randomly and independently.
  • Problem does not follow modules or power supplies when swapped to new locations.
  • Problem is made worse when "All White" test pattern is used.
  • Supply voltage to power supplies is measured at less than 120 VAC.
  • Incoming voltage to the display is measured at less than 120 VAC (example: 100 VAC).

    Cause

    •    Low incoming voltage to the display.

    Resolution

    • Contact electrician for resolution to the voltage loss.
      • Incoming voltage will need to be 120 VAC.
