Remote screen showing "Frequency already in use"; Multiple remotes set to same channel

Potential Symptoms

  • Remote LCD screen shows "Frequency already in use" when multiple scoreboards and RC-200's are in use but will work normally when used at separate times.

Cause

  • Multiple base stations are set with the same radio settings.
    • Multiple RC-200s cannot be used at the same time on the same radio settings without interfering with one another.

Resolution

  1. Set unique radio settings on base stations for each scoreboard.
  2. Then configure the remote for each scoreboard to connect to those unique radio settings.
