Steps
- Power up displays and equipment in rack and verify that all hardware is working correctly
- Run test content to verify signal works to display as expected
- Check for any visual issues with display and schedule service, if necessary
- Inventory spare parts and order extras, if needed
- If using multiple hookup locations (courtside, press box, etc.) for Show Control laptop, All Sport, Lantronix box, etc, verify signal at each location
- Connect live video feed (if applicable) and verify that signal is working out to the display
- Verify backup system is working (if included)
- Verify anti-virus software is licensed and up to date
- Go through content folder to determine files that will be reused (if file names or locations are changed, any buttons will need to be re-linked in Display Studio)
- Delete old files that are no longer needed from content folder, archive to external hard drive if desired (remember to also delete files on backup computer (if applicable), in addition to content on primary
Display Studio
- Remove old buttons from workspace. Create new workspace for new season, if necessary
- Test all dimming buttons
- Backup Nucleus Database
Stats and Data (if applicable)
- Test data from the All Sport 5000
- Open any necessary data programs (DakStats, Sports Wire, etc.)
- Verify all stat templates and data fields work appropriately
- Test 3rd Party Platforms (social media, etc)
