Unable to add a grouped display to a different group; Remove from existing group

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to add a grouped display to a different group.
    • i.e. One group has a single display, other has multiple displays and all displays are of same matrix and type.
  • When in Group Management and select the group that I'm wanting to add the display to, it is not listed in the Available Displays pane.

Cause

  • Display is already a member of another group.

Resolution

  1. Remove display from group or delete group it is currently a member of.
  2. Click Yes to the prompt to delete.
  3. From Group Management window, select the group the display needs to be added to and click Edit Group.
    • The display should now be listed in the Available Displays.
  4. Select the display then click on green arrow pointing toward the Member Displays pane.
  5. Click OK.
