Fuelight: How to set a Point of Sale price offset for a POS Cash Credit display?

  • How do I set a price offset for my different prices on a Point of Sale controlled Cash Credit display?

  • Components: DM-100
  • Control System: Point of Sale system/DM-100

Steps

  1. Press the MENU key.
  2. Press the Down Arrow key to find DISPLAY MENU, press ENTER.
  3. Press the Down Arrow key to find POS SETTINGS, press ENTER.
  4. Press the Down Arrow key to find your specific POS system.  If not present use GENERIC.
  5. Associate your POS price category to the display by selecting the Line number you would like it to display on.
  6. Once the POS settings in the DM-100 are configured to the POS system, press the menu button and navigate back to the POS SETTINGS.
  7. Press the Down Arrow key to find POS PRICE OFFSET, press ENTER. (NOTE: POS PRICE OFFSET might be found under DISPLAY MENU depending on firmware)
  8. Use the Up Arrow and the Down Arrow to select the offset value that needs to be set, press ENTER to move to the next value number.
    • The CASH state is VAL1; the CREDIT state is VAL2; the DEBIT state is VAL3.
    • If the price of the VAL# is to be the default number that is in you POS system, leave the offset value at .00.
    • It is possible to enter a negative offset for a value (i.e., if location wishes to discount cash or debit based off a default credit price).
  9. Once all of the VAL#'s have been set press MENU to go back to main screen.  The POS settings and offset values should now be set.
