VFC, VC6, VS6: How to update firmware remotely

Steps

Save the DMP and VIP firmware files to your desktop that you obtained from https://dakfiles.daktronics.com/ (Transportation-Firmware-VFC-DMP505x)

  1. Open up your internet browser and type your IP address for the controller.
  2. Obtain password from Daktronics tech support by using your case or order number.
  3. Click on Firmware.
  4. DMP.PNG 
  5. Select Update Firmware.
  6. DMP2.PNG 
  7. Then Browse for the DMP file.
  8. To update the VIP type your IP address followed by :85
  9. Enter the user name and password.
  10. Click on Firmware.
  11. VIP.PNG 
  12. Click on Update
  13. VIP2.PNG 
  14. Then Browse for the VIP firmware file.
