How to configure a DDMS controller for a VM-1020 display

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product: VM-1020
  • Components: Display, Controller, Auxiliary Control Panel, Fiber to wire enclosure.
  • Control System: DDMS controller

Steps

  1. Switch the controller to local mode and enter password.
  2. Select Configuration.
  3. Select System Configuration.
  4. Select Configure Display.
  5. Enter your matrix parameters.  
  6.  Press Cancel/ESC twice.
  7. Select Peripheral Configuration.
  8. Select Peripheral Auto detect. This will add the sign door switch, light sensors, power supplies, and surge suppressors.
  9. If you have a traffic cabinet door reporting or UPS system you will have to add this manually in the peripheral configuration page by selecting add peripherals.
