RTD Fields with Special Characters Aren't Being Sent by StatVision

Potential Symptoms

  • When using special characters (like accents) some fields won't be updated
  • Old data will stay in those areas instead of going blank. This would mean, for example, you could see something like total home runs showing up alongside batting average.

Cause

  • Old version of StatVision

Resolution

  • Update StatVsison to at least 2.3.2 

For Temporary Operation

  • Remove the special characters in DakStats, then restart StatVision
