Display Studio: Newly Created DMP-7000 Sign(s) not Available in Display Studio

Potential Symptoms

  • Recently created Venus 7000 sign (window) not available in Display Studio
  • Newly created DMP-7000 signs (windows) not available in Display Studio
  • Why are my DMP-7000 signs (windows) not showing up in Display Studio?

Environment

  • Product:
  • Components: DMP-7000, Display Studio 
  • Control System: Show Control System (SCS)

Cause

  • Display Studio has not updated server information for DMP-7000 player in question.

Resolution

  1. Select the Hub at the top left of Display Studio and choose Properties and then Service Configuration from the dropdown menu

  2. Highlight the DMP-7000 in question and select Update Server. Depending on the amount of signs added, this process can take a few seconds to a few minutes

  3. Close the Service Configuration by selecting OK
  4. The missing DMP-7000 sign(s) should now be available for script commands
