LED Light Strips: ST-22XX has 3" LED light strip out or flickering on and off

Potential Symptoms

  • 3-inch LED section flickering or turn off and on, but does affect any other strips or rest of row.
  • Soldering connections are secure after removing outer case, but when bending one way will turn off and when bending opposite direction turns on

Cause

  • Bad light strip.

Resolution

  • Replace LED light strip.

Work Around

  • Cut light strip out and take two wires and use quick spade connectors or solder wires to bypass LED light strip that is flickering.
