Shot Clock: Not able to connect new Gen 6 receiver to shot clock or delay of game clock or scoreboard, missing adaptor

Potential Symptoms

  • Not able to hook up Gen 6 radio receiver to shot clock/delay of game (DOG) clock or scoreboard.
  • No place on driver to hook up new receiver to shot clock/delay of game clock or scoreboard.

Environment

  • Product: Shot clock or Delay of Game clock with legacy driver
  • Component: Radio receiver Gen 6
  • Control System: All Sport w/ radio (wireless)

Cause

  • The kit comes with the gen 6 receiver with a 6 pin connector but does not include the adaptor to the 5 pin male to plug into J45 on legacy drivers.

Resolution

  • Install an adaptor (W-2913)  for each of the displays with a legacy driver.
