DF-2000 display is blinking after connecting Point of Sale (POS) to DM-100 handheld
Potential Symptoms
- Connected Sapphire POS to DM-100 and now the client side of the display is going blank about ever 6 seconds.
- LED test, Display Status, Set Time 12HR, and Detect Displays are all missing from handheld menu.
- Handheld menu has an additional entry of Set 2nd Galaxy Address.

- Control System: DM-100 w/ POS (ED13374 firmware v5.8 HW rev 02)
Cause
- Trigger is erroneous or extra data from POS side of system causing 1st Galaxy address to be set to a number.
- Possible Root Causes are bad interface cable, bad port on POS, wrong product codes or settings on POS, bad POS, bug in DM-100 firmware.
Resolution
- Unknown
- Some symptoms can be stopped by setting 1st Galaxy address back to none.
