How do I transfer single messages from one computer to another in Vanguard Professional?

How do I save a message in Content Studio from one Database and email or transfer to another computer and save it to a different Database?

Environment

Steps

Step 1: How to save a message to a different location other than the database.

  1.  Launch Daktronics Content Studio on the computer with the original messages.
  2. Click Application Menu.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Locate and open the message needing to be transferred.
  5. Click Application Menu again.
  6. Click Save As....
  7. From the left side panel, choose location of where to save file, Desktop, My Documents, My Computer or My Network.
  8. Once desired location is browsed to, give file a name and click Save.

Step 2: Open and save the message to a new database.

  1.  Launch Daktronics Content Studio on the second computer.
  2. 10.  Click Application Menu.
  3. 11.  Click Open.
  4. 12.  Browse to the location of where you saved the message in Step 1, #7.
    • Note: if the files were zipped, the .vmpf files will first need to be extracted in order to be recognized
  5. Select the message and click Open.
  6. Once presentation is loaded, click Application Menu.
  7. Click Save As….
  8. Provide the file with a name, click Save.
    • The file will save to the Daktronics Database.
