RC-100, unable to communicate to time clock, red LED in base station flashes then goes out, multiple base stations

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to communicate to time clock using RC-100 and Client base station with red TX LED on the incoming signal that flashes once then goes out.
  • Base station (server) on other time clock has no power.

Environment

  • TI-2015
  • RC-100 (multiple base stations)

Cause

  • Power connection to server base station is disconnected.
    • The client base station receives signal from the server base station in multiple base station configurations.

Resolution

  • Connect or restore power to the Server base station then operate both time clocks as normal.
