All Sport 5000: How to place a console into All On Digit test mode?

  • How to place an All Sport 5000 series console into All On Digit test mode?

Environment

Steps

  1. Turn on console.
  2. When the message "Resume previous game" shows on the LCD display, press the CLEAR key.
  3. Type in code 0001 and press ENTER.
  4. If using radio communication, verify correct Broadcast and Channel are entered and press ENTER.
  5. LCD screen will show: Test Console.  
  6. On the keyboard press the "W" key, LCD screen will show: Test Console - All On.
    1. If you are not seeing the "W" key, remove the insert currently being used in console keypad.
  7. Digits on the Scoreboard will be flashing all 8's.   

Note: The All On Digit test may cause the scoreboard horn to sound
