Venus V4 will not open when Orange V application Icon is clicked on

Potential Symptoms

  • Venus application is not launching when the application Icon is clicked on.
    • No flash on screen or anything.
  • If checking properties of non-working application Icon, there is no shortcut.

Cause

  • Bad application shortcut on computer desktop for Venus 1500 V4.

Resolution

  1. Run repair on Venus 1500 software.
  2. Use new shortcut to launch Venus 1500 V4 application.
  3. Remove old (non-working) shortcut from desktop of computer.
