Invalid Response or Unable to Process the response Error

Potential Symptoms

  • Invalid Response or Unable to Process the response when trying to get status on the display, but M2Config will connect without issue.
  • Venus 1500 error log shows the following:
    • Error Message: '<' is an unexpected token. The expected token is '='. Line 2, position 18.

Cause

  • The computer's modem or the phone line are corrupting the configuration file as Venus 1500 Retrieves it.

Resolution

  1. Utilize another modem at the computer.
  2. Have the phone line checked for any issues.
