Using the All Sport with Stat Crew

Steps

Note: Reference How to set up Stat Crew with the All Sport, DSTI, and Venus 7000, DD2167389 for more information on Stat Crew and DSTI setup.

  1. Confirm one end of your straight through 9 pin to 9 pin serial cable is connected to your statistics computer via 9 pin serial connection or USB to serial adapter and the other end of your 9 pin to 9 pin serial cable is connected to the J5 port of your All Sport 5X00
  2. Launch Stat Crew software and open a completed or incomplete game that has player statistics entered.
  3. Confirm DSTI and TasComms32 are open. Refer to How to set up TasComms32 serial communication for Stat Crew, DD2557286 for setting up serial communication.
  4. When a competition is opened, the message log at the bottom of the DSTI screen will display that the competition has been opened.
  5. DSTI and the All Sport 5X00 should receive Stat Crew data when stats are entered. To check this, try pressing the Mass Sub button on the All Sport, if it's detecting Stat Crew data it will tell you the key is disabled.

    • Note: Stat Crew software only sends data when a play is entered or when F4 is pressed. If you are not immediately seeing data on your display, try pressing F4 and/or entering a play. Pressing the Start Monitoring button in TasComms32 will also send Stat Crew data to DSTI.
