AF-3500/AF-3550 display communication lost after setting IP address
Potential Symptoms
- Communications lost after changing IP settings on the controller via M2Config, even though IP on boot up matches the changed IP.
Environment
- AF-3500, AF-3550 Displays
- M3 Controller
- Galaxy
Cause
- Subnet was improperly assigned
Resolution
- Access the controller within the display.
- Power down the controller.
- Set the Upper rotary dial to (F) and the Lower rotary dial to (E).
- Power up the controller and let it go completely through the boot up sequence.
- Power down the controller.
- Set the Upper rotary dial back to 0 and the Lower rotary dial to 1.
- Power up the controller.
- Now it should be possible to communicate using the default display IP of 172.16.192.25.
- Change the IP address to the wanted values again.
