Cause

  • Venus v4 will constantly try to get status automatically if set to online in the bottom right hand corner

Resolution

  1. Click the Online button in the bottom right hand corner
  2. Select Offline. This will make it so the software will only connect to the sign when hitting the green refresh arrows at the top of the screen, or when publishing a schedule to the display.
