No Communication, EBR Server radio shows 0 dBm
Potential Symptoms
- No communication to display.
- Can ping server radio but not client radio.
- Server radio shows a RSSI value of 0 dBm (usually when radios are disconnected it should show -100 dBm).
- It also may show the wrong firmware version and a number of connected subscribers (should normally be just 1).
- Server radio may show wrong firmware version (e.g. may show 078 instead 084).
Environment
- EBRxtr Radios (Ethernet Bridge Radios)
Cause
- Suspect server radio has locked up (can happen with power outages).
Resolution
- Power cycle the server radio via DCI.
Work Around
- Do a soft reset of the server radio via web interface on the Admin page.
