D-Link adapter (Rev C1) will not install on computer from the CD or from Dakfiles
Potential Symptoms
- D-Link will not install onto computer from CD or from Dakfiles.
- Get error that it is not plugged in, but it is, and multiple USB ports present same result.
- Device Manager displays a yellow exclamation or question mark next to DUB-E100.
- After uninstalling the D-Link adapter, unable to get it to install from CD or Dakfiles.
- Driver disk for the D-Link adapter is missing or not available.
Environment
- D-Link (DUB-E100)
- USB to Ethernet Adapter (revision C1)
- Black Adapter
Cause
- Issue with install of the Daktronics driver.
Resolution
- Go to the D-Link website. http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DUB-E100
- Select "C" for hardware version.
- Select 1.02 for the Windows version.
- Download and install the driver.
