LED Light Strips: EOP (Backboard) strips are lighting when shot clock = 0
Potential Symptoms
- EOP (End of Period) light strips light when the shot clock time is equal to zero.
- Light strips light when shot clock runs out, instead of or in addition to lighting at the end of period (EOP).

Cause
- Dip switches are not set correctly.
Resolution
- To ensure that the EOP (End of Period) lights illuminate only at the end of the period and not when the shot clock reaches 0, set dip switches 4 and 8 to the "ON" position on the relay board.
- Verify that all other dip switches are in the "OFF" position.
- Per NCAA rulings, the EOP lights cannot go off when the shot clock =0, and may only go off at the end of period.
