V1500 V4 Scheduled Content Plays 24/7 Instead of Specified Time

Potential Symptoms

  • Content is scheduled to play during certain days/dates with a specific start/end time but they play 24/7 during those dates instead.
  • Or Configure > Scheduling > Playlist mode > Continues mode is set

Environment

  • Product: GP4
  • Component: 
  • Control System: V1500 V4

Cause

  • Recurrence is set to None, in this mode the start/end time is only applied to the first/last day.
  • Or change Configure > Scheduling > Playlist mode > Scheduled

Resolution

  • Change recurrence to Weekly and select all of the days the content needs to play. The start/end time will then be applied to each day of the schedule.
