Cause

  • User logged into PC does not have Access or Rights to the proper folders for Venus 1500.

Resolution

Step 1: Give proper rights to the Daktronics folders in the below locations:
  • C:\Program Files
  • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
  1. Right-click each folder and go to Properties.
  2. Choose Security Tab. (if security tab is missing follow DD2078545)
  3. Add Users and give full rights to all users.

Step 2: Give proper rights to HKEY Registry.

  1. Go to Windows Start Menu -> Run -> Regedit -> OK
  2. Go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE -> Software -> Daktronics
  3. Go to HKEY CURRENT USER -> Software -> Daktronics
  4. Right-Click and choose Permissions, and give full rights.
