All Sport console time freezes and console does not respond to button presses

Potential Symptoms

  • Clock goes blank on the scoreboard.
  • All Sport Console Clock freezes or locks up and does not respond to button presses.
  • Game information changes do not update on the console LCD screen or on the scoreboard.
  • Not able to enter in any game information from the All Sport console.
  • Different console works properly with the scoreboard.
  • Need to power cycle the All Sport console in order to get the scoreboard to work properly.

Environment

  • Product:  All Sport
  • Component:  All Sport Console
  • Control System: All Sport 1600, All Sport 5000, All Sport 5500 (With Hardwired communication or with Gen 5 or Gen 6 Radio communication)

Cause

  • The All Sport Console is going bad.

Resolution

  • Replace All Sport.

For Temporary Operation

  • Use a different All Sport console.
