Verify the correct power for a Panasonic web camera

- Open the webcam by unscrewing the 2 enclosure screws on the side of the housing.
- At the rear of the camera, measure the AC voltage across the AC input screws (24 VAC should be present).
- 24 VAC present: Correct voltage is getting to the webcam.
- 24 VAC not present: Continue to next step.
- Disconnect the power cable from the rear of the display.
- Check for voltage across the 2 pin connection in the rear of the display.
- 24 VAC present: Replace webcam cable going from display to the webcam.
- 24 VAC not present: Continue with next step.
- Trace the wire inside the display from the 2 pin rear connector to the transformer.
- Check voltage directly from the transformer.
- 24 VAC present: Replace cable going from transformer to 2 pin connector.
- 24 VAC not present: Continue to next step.
- Measure the incoming power to the transformer across the pins show in the picture above.
- 120 VAC present: Replace transformer.
- 120 VAC not present: Follow input power wires to the source and troubleshoot where the 120 VAC is being lost.
