How to set the dip switches on the A-2826 media converters for a Message Center?

How should the dip switches be set on the A-2826 media converters when they are being used for a Message Center?

Environment

  • Fiber media converters
    • A-2826

Resolution

  • Media Converter located inside the building.
    • Dip switches are set to all up as a default from Daktronics.  (Auto negotiate)
  • Media converter located at the display (inside the communication box).
    • Dip switches are set to all up (Auto negotiate) as a default from Daktronics.  Most message centers will work properly when set this way, however the AF-3700, GalaxyPro Revolution (GPR), & GP3 models work best when dip switches 1 & 3 down (10 Full duplex).
