No communication, EBR, Quality lights moving back and forth

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to communicate to the display.
  • Unable to ping server radio.
  • POE is hooked up correctly and powered up.
  • Server radio has power and link lights.
  • Quality lights on server radio are moving back and forth (knight rider effect.)

Cause

  • Radios are not communicating with each other.

Resolution

  • Cycle power to the radios, leaving them both off for at least 2 minutes.
    • Bring the server radio back up first, then the client.
