Potential Symptoms

  • The line spacing between lines of text is removed when playing out on the display in Venus 1500 v4.15 and the text lines scrunch together.

Environment

  • Venus 1500 (4.15, 4.16, 4.17)
  • Windows OS

Cause

  • This only happens when using Venus Type fonts and adding line spacing, the controller defaults to 1 line of space between lines of text.
  • This can happen whether there is two lines of text type directly on the layout or two lines of text in one single text box.
  • The line spacing attributes were not added to any M2/M3 controller types since 4.14.2 when using Venus Type Fonts.

Work Around

  • Use a single text box per line of text needed when using Venus Type Fonts.
