How to find Base Station information from RC-100/RC-200 handheld

Potential Symptoms

  • Finding firmware version information, sync, and channel information from my base station that my RC-100 handheld device is connected to.

  • How to see what channel or bcast that the RC-200 Base Station Receiver is set at.
  • How to see what channel that the RC-100 Base Station Receiver is set at.

  • Component: Base Station Firmware
  • Control System: RC-100/RC-200 Handheld Controller

Resolution

For RC-100 Setup:

  • N.N = firmware revision
  • MMM = month
  • DD = date
  • YYYY = year
  • CC = channel number
  • If the Base Station is synchronized to another Base Station via a sync group, the bottom left corner of the LCD will display "Sync:" followed by the sync group number.
  1. Power on the RC-100.
  2. Resume or enter in the new code needed for the event to be played.
  3. Make sure you have connection from your RC-100 to the base station you are trying to acquire information from.
  4. Press the <ALT> key DD2223959_ALT.pngin the bottom left hand corner.
  5. Press the <CONNECT> key DD2223959_CONNECT.png in the upper right hand corner.
  6. The following screen will display below if the connection to the base station has been made.
  7. Press any key to return to normal operation.
For RC-200 Setup:

  • XX = broadcast group #
  • YY = channel #
  • R = region (D for Domestic, I for International)
  • If the Base Station is synchronized to another Base Station via a sync group, the bottom left corner of the LCD will display "Sync:" followed by the sync group number.

  2. Resume or enter in the new code needed for the event to be played.
  3. Make sure you have connection from your RC-200 to the base station you are trying to acquire information from.

  5. Press the <CONNECT> key DD2223959_CONNECT.png in the upper right hand corner.
  6. The following screen will display below if the connection to the base station has been made.
