All Sport: How do I keep Time of Day on my scoreboard after shutting off the console?

Environment

  • Product: Scoreboard (non-ColorSmart scoreboards)
  • Component: Legacy scoreboard drivers
  • Control System: All Sport 5000

Resolution

  1. Scoreboard must have the Stand Alone Time of Day protocol plug (0A-1150-0118) installed in the clock driver jack J20.
  2. Press Menu.
  3. Scroll to Select TOD and press Enter.
  4. Enter in preferences for 12 hour or 24 hour which will decide how the board displays (1:00 or 13:00/Military Time).
  5. Enter in Time of Day.
  6. Press Enter to blank game data.
  7. Time should now be displaying.
  8. Press any key to return to game.
  9. If All Sport shows 1 scoreboard 2 TOD choose number 2, will see message Blank Scoreboard data? hit enter to send TOD setting.
  10. Choose 1 to return to scoreboard clock.
  11. Run a test game or time up on the board then turn off the console and make sure the board switches back to Time of Day.

Note: If you received an 0A-1150-0068 protocol plug (fully loaded),  cut the brown, red and orange wires. leaving the yellow wire.
