- NOTE: Do Not Close this error or you will have to start the SQL setup all over again.

Cause

When software installs the SQL Server, it configures the SQL Server (NUCLEUS) as a Network Service. On some computers the SQL can start and runĀ as Network Service while others can not.
Resolution
Step 1: Do not close out of install error, leave open while you follow the next steps. (Screen shot below)
Step 2: First try to manually start the SQL Server (NUCLEUS) following How do I manually start, restart, or stop the SQL Server (NUCLEUS), Daktronics Fusion and Daktronics Nucleus Server services?, DD2236444.
- If you get error "The SQL Server (Nucleus) service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the performance logs and alerts services." (Screen shot below), follow Receiving "Windows could not start the SQL Server (NUCLEUS) service on Local Computer" when trying to open Venus 1500 v4 software, DD2004044 to change the Service to Local System.
Step 3: Try starting service again.
- Once theĀ service is started, click Retry on the Install Error or start the Install again.
