All Sport 4000: Reset 2 button not working

Potential Symptoms

  • Reset 2 button is not working with an All Sport 4000.
  • Double reset remote not working when plugged into an All Sport 4000 console.
  • Reset 2 button on handheld device is not working with All Sport 4000.
  • Dual reset remote not working with an All Sport 4000 console.

Environment

  • Product: Scoreboards with Play clock
  • Component: Remote Start Stop with Double Reset
  • Control System:  All Sport 4000

Cause

  • All Sport 4000 consoles do not support the double reset button.  The single button reset is no longer available, so the double reset remote is used when a remote start/stop/reset switch is needed.

Resolution

  • Second reset button is unusable on an All Sport 4000. If a second reset time is needed, Call Daktronics Technical Support for a solution.
