Deck plates wired incorrectly and already potted, how do you remove potting

Potential Symptoms

Brand new deck plates purchased and installed.  Wiring was done incorrectly and looking for advice on how to remove the potting so the wiring can be fixed.

Environment

In-deck timing system

Resolution

Once the potting is poured into a deck plate and cured there is no way to remove it.  If the wiring is done incorrectly and no way to change on the other end of the cable then replacement deck plates need to be ordered and installed correctly being sure to test the system multiple times before pouring potting. Remember potting needs to cure for 24 hours minimum before mounting.
