All Sport 1600 console displaying battery low error across the LCD screen.

Potential Symptoms

  • Getting battery low error on the console and the SCBD is freezing up.
  • After power cycling the All Sport 1600, it then works properly for a while.

Cause

  • Noise on the input power making it appear to the console that the line frequency is not in a valid range causing the console to display "Low Battery".

Resolution

  • Use a console with firmware version 4.0.1 or greater.
