How do I change the frame size on a VLink 4400 or 4500?

Environment

  • Venus 7000
  • VLink 4400 or 4500 ( VIP-4500, VIP-4000)

Resolution

Through Venus 7000
  1. Open the Venus 7000 shell.
  2. Click the configure button.
  3. Choose the "Signs" tab.
  4. Choose the sign that needs to be changed and select "Edit Sign".
  5. Navigate to the "V-Max 4" tab.
  6. From the "Frame Size:" drop down select the new value and click OK.
  7. Click OK on the System Configuration window.

Through VLink web config

This method should only be used on sites not using a Venus 7000 computer as any changes in the web config will be overridden when the Venus 7000 sign service starts.

  1. Open web browser and type the VLink's IP address into the address bar.
  2. Under the configuration heading click on "General".
  3. Locate the "Frame Size:" drop down and select the new value.
  4. Click the "Update" button.
