Venus 1500: How do I add or remove a message/presentation or a playlist to or from a display?

Steps

  1. Find the Venus 1500 V4 Software on your Desktop or in your Start Menu and double-click to launch.
  2. Select a Display if a display/group was not automatically selected for you.
  3. Go to the Schedule Tab and adjust the playlists as per your selected Playlist Mode (Continuous or Scheduled).
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​CONTINUOUS PLAYLIST MODE:
  • You will see refresh arrows on the left side of the Schedule tab:

To Schedule in Continuous Mode:
    1. Add or remove desired presentations by doing the following:
      • Add by clicking the Add button, then browse and select desired presentation(s) to add to playlist.
      • Remove by selecting and highlighting the desired presentation(s) and clicking the Remove button.
    2. Click the Publish to Display button in the bottom left corner.

SCHEDULED PLAYLIST MODE:

    • You will see Calendars on the left side of the Schedule tab:
        
To Schedule in Scheduled Mode:
  1. Click Add > Playlist to add a new playlist.
    1. Or Double-click on an existing playlist to edit.
    2. Or Double-click on a specific date and time in the calendar.
    3. Add or remove desired presentations by doing the following:
      • Add by using the green [+] Plus sign, then browse and select desired presentation(s) to add to playlist.
      • Remove by selecting and highlighting the desired presentation(s) and clicking the green [-] Minus sign.
    4. Add/Edit the desired Start and End Dates and Times.
    5. Click the OK button to save changes.
    6. Click the Publish to Display button in the bottom left corner.
