Potential Symptoms
- Clock is running fast/slow by a few minutes.
- Analog clock time doesn't match the controller time.
Environment
- Product Family: Sports Product
- Product: DA-110x-y analog clock. Where x equals model type and y equals clock diameter.
- Component:
- Control System: 99B-MI controller
Cause
- Not synced properly
- Wind moved arms
Resolution
- Hold ENTER key for 5 seconds to access User Mode.
- First confirm the Time is correct on the controller and adjust if needed.
- Then you need to tell the controller where the clock hands are currently.
- Scroll down until "Enter Hand Pos" is found, read the current time showing on the analog clock, then press ENTER.
- Clock hands will not move while this menu is displayed.
- This menu will not "time out" or shut off, so user has time to go outside building to view clock if necessary.
- Enter the current position of the clock hands by using the UP/DOWN arrows and the ENTER key to move between Hours and Minutes.
- When done, hold "CANCEL" key for 5 seconds to exit menus and allow 99B-MI to reset clocks to self-correct the time.
- If the clock is less than 2 hours fast, the hands will stop until the correct time is reached.
- If the clock is more than 2 hours fast, the minute hand will slowly tick ahead until the correct time is reached.
- The display will alternate between "Correcting Clock Hands at:" and the actual time and date information while the clocks are being updated.
- Verify the Analog clock now corresponds to the controller time.
