Panasonic Webcam, Image intermittently No video or scrambled; Failed BNC cable

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to view webcam video, however able to reach Axis video server.
  • Intermittent Picture from webcam.
  • Possible scrambled image of webcam.
  • Webcam is image is garbled or distorted and/or dark.
  • Seeing No Video in Axis webserver

Cause

  • Video cable or BNC termination bad.

Resolution

  • Replace the video/BNC cable.

For Temporary Operation

  • Re-terminate the bad BNC connection.
