Galaxy, Can get status, Can not send message, Playlist is full error

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to add messages to display but can get status to the display.
  • Message does not go to running or stored messages when sending message to the display in Venus.
  • Display errors out and turns red in display manager.
  • Error log shows error -10, "playlist is full".
  • Even though the error shows the playlist is full, there are no stored messages listed.
  • Display may have current content running but still unable to add additional content to running or stored messages.

Environment

  • Galaxy
  • AF-3160, AF-3200, AF-3220, AF-3400, AF-6120
  • Venus 1500 Version 3

Cause

  • Memory lock up on controller.

Resolution

  • Clear the display memory by going to the Tools area of the Display Manager, checking Clear Display Memory and resetting the display.
