AF-3165/3400 RGB, Section of modules not showing Red or Blue/Green, Power Supply

Potential Symptoms

  • Section of modules not showing Red or it is not showing Blue and Green.
  • Swapped the power supply outputs and the problem follows the power supply output.
  • Power supply has 120Vs input, no 9 VDC output.

Cause

  • A portion of the power supply assembly has failed
  • The power supply assembly has 2 different power supplies within it.  One power supply is used for Red LEDs the other is used for the Blue & Green LEDs.

Resolution

  • Replace the power supply assembly.
