Announcer's Console works but low or no audio to the cabinet
Potential Symptoms
- Announcer's Console showing audio present at mixer, but not at cabinet.
- Mixer shows audio when using mics or CDs, but won't show anything on the Whirlwind EMOD when the audio is being sent.
- Verify bundle settings were set to 100001 on the Whirlwind.
- Verify Link and ACT LED's were Green on the front of the Whirlwind, and also that the Fault LED was blank.
- When the Mixer is maxed out, the Whirlwind shows only slight flicker in the -36 setting on the back panel A/B meter.
Environment
- RU-MX4 Mixer
Cause
- Output switch setting on the RU-MX4 mixer is set to MIC, and needs to be set to LINE.
Resolution
- Set the XLR output switch level to LINE.
